Deep Down Exhibition Visual ID / Cumberland Council

This exhibition responded specifically to the Japanese Gardens in Auburn, adjacent to the Peacock gallery. The garden featured a highly curated collection of plantlife and a large man-made pond with a traditional Japanese layout and feel. A significant feature of the installation was a projected recreation of the pond in the centre of the gallery, for this reason I chose to focus the materials around the idea of water - I wanted the typographic elements to feel like they were floating to the surface. A clean, paired back two column layout made the foreword and essay by Kristina Tito and Luke Létourneau easy to read.
